Chapter 1
After graduation, I married a wealthy man, Michael Thompson, against my family's wishes.
But all the luxury couldn't fill the emptiness inside me.
Not until Michael's adopted son, Eric Wilson, came back from abroad.
That was when I discovered—what it truly meant to be a woman.
My name is Victoria Miller, and I'm twenty-four.
Because I was pretty and had been a dance major, ever since college, men had been lining up to pursue me.
I received so many gifts that my hands grew tired from carrying them. It fed my vanity, sure, but it also made my standards climb higher and higher.
So after graduation, I naturally picked a rich husband—Michael Miller.
But financial wealth didn't satisfy me.
Instead, it left me drowning in a deep loneliness.
Michael was older. Most of the time, aside from money, he couldn't give me anything, especially when it came to intimacy.
I understood that age had taken a toll on his body.
But I was only twenty-four, and we'd only been married for a year.
Living like a widow was torture for me.
Little by little, I started to feel bored and restless in my marriage.
Just when I thought I couldn't take it anymore, Michael suddenly brought home an unfamiliar young man.
"This is Eric Wilson," Michael said, gesturing to the man beside him. "He just got back from abroad and will be staying with us for a while."
Then he pointed at the man beside him, then nodded toward me. "Eric, say hello to your godmother."
"Hello, godmother," Eric said. "I'm Eric. It's nice to meet you."
As I looked at him, this guy who was about my age, I couldn't help but feel my heart skip a beat.
It was almost like I was back in my first year of college—suddenly shy and awkward all over again.
I nervously pulled at my skirt. "H-Hi..." I managed to say.
Eric nodded and headed off with Michael to the living room.
I poured them each a glass of water.
While I did, I deliberately snuck several looks at the stranger—this tall, young man.
Without even realizing it, I started comparing Michael and Eric in my mind.
To be honest, Eric was handsome. Great build, too.
Not like Michael—middle-aged, balding, with a growing gut. The man was just... greasy.
I couldn't help wondering what a young, strong man like him was packing...
My eyes drifted down, almost involuntarily, stealing a glance or two at Eric's crotch.
I thought to myself, if I had married a clean-cut guy like him, my intimate life would probably be pretty satisfying.
His strong build, that signature smile radiating youthful energy—Michael, that old man, couldn't hold a candle to him.
If I hadn't married so soon after graduation, I wondered, could I have met a young man like Eric?
If that were the case, at least when it comes to certain things, I wouldn't feel so unfulfilled now.
Suddenly, my mind wandered to some wildly inappropriate thoughts and images. So outrageous that even I was shocked by them.
I tried my best to keep myself from thinking about it.
Maybe it was because I hadn't hooked up with Michael in ages.
The moment those shameful images appeared in my mind, I felt a sudden dampness between my legs...
To my utter embarrassment, Eric actually noticed my strange behavior.
"Godmother, is something wrong? Are you feeling unwell? Maybe you should rest for a bit," he said, his voice full of concern.
