Chapter 3
Kaden ~
These girls were fucking stupid.
What were they doing in a school full of dangerous Alphas?
And now they were sharing a room with me and the Vicious Boys.
I hated these bastards, but everyone in this school belonged to a pack or clique. Anyone alone was considered an easy target and the Vicious Boys ruled because they were the strongest.
They’d dragged me into their pack the moment I arrived, knowing my strength could easily dethrone them if I joined someone else.
I didn’t mind the violence because it gave me somewhere to bury years of anger.
Now these two idiots had walked straight into my den.
Whatever was their reason for coming here, I intended to find out.
Dahlia stood frozen in front of me, those innocent eyes giving away just how frightened she was.
Silas threw an arm around my shoulders, “Hey, Kaden. Doesn’t this one look a little odd?”
I glanced at Dahlia.
“Looks like a girl,” Silas added.
Panic flashed across her face, but Sienna quickly stepped in, “Well, we’re your new roommates, so I suppose we should introduce ourselves. I’m Caleb and this is Theo.”
I almost laughed at their silly lie, “I’m Kaden.”
Dahlia gave me a faint, grateful smile when I introduced myself instead of exposing her.
How precious, I’ll let them believe I was playing along and I’d enjoy watching whatever they have planned play out… and then destroying it.
The next morning, we headed to football practice.
Caleb and Theo struggled to keep up, because of course they were girls and they weren’t even werewolves.
Especially Theo, whose awkward movements made him an easy target.
“Eyes on me, rookie!” I barked when he missed a drill.
I pushed him harder throughout practice, expecting him to break.
Instead, he surprised me.
When I unexpectedly threw the ball at him, he caught it and managed to send it straight back into my hands.
“Not bad,” I admitted.
He glared at me.
“You could’ve warned me,” he said.
I laughed, “And miss the fun of watching you panic? Never.”
By the end of practice, everyone was exhausted.
But something else had caught my attention.
Theo’s soaked shirt clung to his body and beneath the tightly wrapped bandages around his chest, I could make out the faintest curves.
I waited until everyone else had left before approaching.
“You’ve got guts,” I said.
Dahlia turned sharply and narrowed her pretty eyes at me.
“But you’re not fooling me. Whatever game you’re playing here, I’ll figure it out,” I said.
Her eyes widened, “I’m not playing any games.”
I stepped closer.
“Your appearance might fool everyone, but your scent won’t,” I say.
She went still as though they had t thought about that when they were making this silly plan.
“Sooner or later, the Alphas here will notice what you are,” I said.
“What can we do?” She finally asked, relenting.
A slow smirk spread across my face.
“You both need to be fucked by some alphas, hard,” I said and I hated the jolt of electricity that shot directly through the length of my cock at the thought of that.
Her pretty mouth hung open in horror and a smirk graced my lips.
“At least twice a week,” I added to aggravate her further.
And judging by the way her heart was racing beneath that disguise, she knew I wasn’t joking.
