I drank to the point of blacking out almost every night.

I lashed out at my wife, at my doctors, at my friends...at my kids.

Everyone who tried to reach out to me, I burned.

Eventually, my wife couldn't do it anymore.

The night she left, she got into a car accident.

My wife, in critical condition, because she'd been too upset to get into that car.

My kids--they couldn't count on me and they knew they couldn't count me.
