Roses Never Bow

Synopsis

Following her husband's text, Emma Lane heads to a hotel to pick him up. She opens the private room door and unexpectedly stumbles into her college reunion. Her exhusband Alex Carter sits at the head of the table, surrounded by admiring old classmates. The whole room falls into an awkward freeze the moment she appears. Sophia Reed, who once pursued Alex, sneers at Emma’s lesserranked university degree and accuses her of crashing the party. Her former friend Ryan Brooks mocks her for hounding her ex postdivorce. Alex gives her a distant look and reminds her their marriage has ended. All guests stare at Emma with contempt, believing she still clings to him. Remaining calm amid jeers, Elena says she has only come for her husband. The crowd falls silent, judging her as delusional. She ignores Alex and all taunts, for the man she is waiting for is never her exhusband.
