It was twilight.

I couldn't stop staring out the window.

Pacing the living room was my only option. Hands rubbing together.

Impatiently.

Thoughts of Reid sharing an apartment with us ran wild in my head.

"You look like you would die if he doesn't come walking tall through that door," Jamie said.

Her voice creased through the silence.

I pressed my lips together. Rolled my eyes.

"If he doesn't or if he does?" I asked. Shoulders dropping.

"I regret accepting his choice of staying here!" I sulked.

She chuckled.

"I like it though. The smartest thing you'll do this…
