Chapter 1
In my previous life, my roommate Gracie Andrews used my name “Angela Thomas” to date Tyson Ross, the wealthy heir of the capital circle, over the internet. But the photos she sent were actually of herself.
Three months later, when Tyson finally met my real 200-pound appearance, he flew into a rage. In retaliation, he destroyed my family’s company. My parents both jumped to their deaths, and I followed them, ending my own life by jumping as well.
Later, Gracie wore a big size diamond ring, flaunting her engagement in front of my grave. She mocked me for being fat like a pig, saying I died too early and couldn’t even be her bridesmaid to make her look better.
But this time, I was reborn.
I returned to three months earlier. The phone rang, and the heir promised her a Ferrari.
This time, I smiled and agreed to go with her to meet him.
Then, calmly, I stopped the “medicine” that had been maintaining her beauty.
Gracie, in this life, I would make you face your most anticipated day with your most hideous appearance, and receive the grand judgment I prepared for you.
If you used someone else’s name, you had to pay for it with your life.

"What? You got me a global limited-edition Ferrari?"
A shrill scream tore through the quiet afternoon vibe of our dorm.
I was still lying in bed, shaken from that falling sensation, when her scream hit me like a knife to the ears.
I slowly opened my eyes. The familiar ceiling of my dorm room came into view, with dust floating lazily in the air.
Wasn't I dead?
I remembered every second the agony of my bones breaking, and the sudden darkness as everything faded away when I jumped from the thirtieth floor.
"Tyson, you're not messing with me, right?"
That voice I despised echoed again. I turned, stiff as a board, and saw Gracie sitting across from me on her bed, phone in hand, her face lit up with excitement and showing off.
She was dressed in a cute floral dress, slim, looking graceful, and her features were delicate.
She was still here, still looking just as lovely as I remembered. As for me... I instinctively touched my arm, the feel of all that fat made me shiver.
I shot upright, jumped out of bed without a second thought, and rushed to the full-length mirror.
Staring back at me was an overweight girl, at least 200 pounds. Even the baggy T-shirt couldn't hide the rolls around my waist, and my features were nearly lost in all that fat.
This was me, before the tragedy of my last life began.
I really... was reborn.
"Baby, it's just a car. Why would I joke with you?"
Gracie deliberately pressed the speakerphone button, and a doting yet somewhat arrogant male voice clearly echoed in the small dormitory.
That was Tyson, the crown prince of the capital's elite.
He was the guy who took out his rage on me and destroyed my entire family with barely a flick of his hand, just because he got fooled by some photos.
"I saw it in Felora and thought the red would look perfect on you," Tyson's voice came through the phone. "By the time I get back in three months, the car will be all cleared. I'll personally bring it to your dorm."
"Three months later..." I muttered to myself.
That was when Tyson came back, saw my 200-pound self, and thought he'd been played. His revenge was swift and brutal. Star Capital went bankrupt, my parents aged overnight, and hand in hand, they jumped from the rooftop in despair.
When I saw their lifeless bodies, I made the same choice.
After I died, my soul hovered by my tombstone. I watched Gracie, flaunting the massive diamond ring Tyson gave her, putting on a pouty, fake-sad face as she talked to my picture on the gravestone.
"Angela, it's your fault for jumping so early. If you'd stuck around, your 200-pound body would've made the perfect bridesmaid. I'd have looked like a supermodel next to you."
"Honestly, I only used your name to flirt with Tyson online because I felt sorry for you. You're as fat as a pig, probably never had a boyfriend. Who knew he'd be so disgusted when he saw you that he'd destroy your whole family?"
"Guess I can only wish you’re born skinny in your next life..."
Rage boiled inside me, like lava about to erupt, threatening to swallow me whole.
As soon as the call ended, the other two roommates rushed over, squealing with jealousy.
"Gracie! Tyson... no, wait, Mr. Ross bought you a Ferrari?"
"Oh my God… you’re way too lucky!"
Gracie, basking in all the admiration, strutted over to me like a peacock showing off its feathers. She slid off her bed, walked over with that graceful, swaying gait, and playfully shook my arm, her voice full of innocence and dependence.
"Angela, will you come with me to meet Tyson when the time comes? Please?"
"This is my first time dating online, and I'm so scared I'll get scammed. You're the heiress of Star Capital, you've seen it all. I'll feel so much safer with you by my side."
I looked up, my gaze locked onto her face, so full of innocence.
