I woke up in the hospital.

As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw Albert sitting by my bedside. His eyes were bloodshot, and there was a shadow of a beard on his chin.

When he saw me awake, he visibly relaxed.

He asked, "You're awake? Are you feeling alright? Anywhere hurts?" His voice was rough and raspy.

I shook my head and tried to move, but a tearing pain ripped through my back. "Ugh..." I hissed.
