I caught a whiff of lilies.

Evelyn stood in the doorway, wearing a soft yellow cardigan and holding a bouquet of lilies. Two helpers followed behind her, each carrying a fruit basket. Her makeup was flawless, a perfectly polite, concerned smile on her lips.

"Rachel, I heard you were in the hospital. Michael and I are so worried about you," Evelyn said, stepping inside with a gentle smile.
