Chapter 6
Usually when I'm in this position I leave but I guess I can make a small exception for this little beauty.
I wasn't wearing a shirt because it got really hot last night and I just had to take it off.
"Morning," I said walking towards her and looking over her shoulder to see what she was doing.
"Morning, do you want some?" she asked turning her head towards a plate full of pancakes.
"Of course." I agreed and sat down at a table she had in her kitchen.
As we ate I felt like Lena wanted to ask me something but didn't know how.
She was playing with some of her food and when she would lift her cup towards her perfect pink lips her hand would shake a little bit.
She won't make an eye contact with me and when I try to start a convesation she would answer everything in one word.
"Are you alright Lena?" I asked raising my eyebrow.
She looked at me with wide eyes, "W-well I don't, I mean, I don't know if you are comfortable sharing with me."
"My food?
You can have it if you want." I chuckled moving my plate towards her.
She shook her head back and forth, some of hair pieces fell down her face and I really wanted to move the away but stopped.
"No, it's your food eat it.
I wanted to ask you something.
But if you don't want to talk about it or if it's against the rules I'm fine with it." she rambled, I barely understood what she said.
She was like a parrot.
A cute one at that.
"Go ahead then."
"What happened last night?
Why were you talking to those guys?"
"Oh you mean, in the alley?" I asked.
She nodded her head.
"Well it's this gang problem with the drugs."
"D-Drugs?" she asked looking scared.
"Yeah, it's not big deal.
Don't get scared.
Every gang on this planet has something to do with drugs." I said like it was no big deal.
"Do you do drugs?"
I shook my head, "I'm not going to tell you maybe later.
Plus who knows you might be working for the FBI."
"I want to know about the Raven Crew, are they really that brutal?"
"The are, and if you ever see one of the gang following you.
Run." I said staring at her.
"How do I know it's them?"
"Well those guys last night were from the Raven Crew.
They are close with the main leader.
Viktor.
They mostly wear black, and they all have tattoos on their wrist or an ear."
She giggled, "Why an ear?"
I smiled, "I don't know, I guess they want to be different from other gangs.
It's better than getting a tattoo on your forehead."
"True."
"So is it all about drugs?"
"Mostly, but it's also about who has more land or who has more power."
"Land?
Power?
What do you mean?"
"Land as in who owns what blocks in the city.
Like I mostly own north and west.
He owns east and south.
As for power, I guess it all depends who beats each other more.
And I right now have the most power."
She smiled finishing her drink.
"If you ever see them, don't associate with them.
Got it Lena?
It's dangerous."
She nodded, "I promise."
I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket.
I picked it up and heard Andre say "Sup man!
We need you back at the base.
There is a little problem."
"Alright.
I'll be there in ten." I hung up the phone.
"I gotta go." I said standing up, grabbing my plate so I can place it in the kitchen.
"Oh, leave that there.
I'll take care of it." she said.
"Thanks." I said and walked towards the living room.
I put my shirt on and walked towards the door.
Lena followed me and stood in front of me.
"Can I come over tonight?
I don't really want to be bored." I murmured to her quietly.
"Sure.
But you have to bring something to eat."
I nodded, and opened the door.
"Wait," she said.
"Maybe I could have that number?" she asked leaning against the door.
I smiled.
Finally she wants to give me her number.
I wanted to ask for it earlier but I didn't want to push it.
I agreed and we switched the numbers together.
She gives me a hug and I hug her back softly kissing her cheek.
She blushed and mumbled and goodbye before closing the door.
I smirked and walked towards my car.
I sat down and turned on a random radio station that had some rock music and drove towards the warehouse.
The warehouse from the outside looked like an apartment building.
There is a reason why, but I'm going to explain later on.
It was white, three stories high, and at the front of it was a glass door.
Typical for most apartments in this area.
I parked my car next to the warehouse.
There was a small parking lot on the left side of the building to make it look like there were some people living there, were in reality the cars were from other gang members.
When I entered the place it had a front desk, that looked like a check-in with Frank sitting behind the counter reading a newspaper.
"How are you Frank?" I asked stepping in front of him.
"I'm good Damian, hows your life?"
"Doing well.
Did Andre and Julian sign in already?"
"Yes they have.
I nodded and walked towards the elevator and pressed on the 3rd floor were the meeting room was located at.
Frank was 60 years old and he is by far the oldest gang member.
He used to have the same position as me but he gave me the title.
Instead of leaving the gang he decided to be a 'counter' man.
He had short gray hair and he had eyes of a hawk.
As I exited the elevator there was one door in front of me.
For any normal person entering this would this this is a wooden door, in reality it's a bulletproof metal door that is painted in this wood color.
I opened the door and everything was silent in the room.
There was a large meeting table in the middle of the room.
A projector on one wall, and a city map in the other that had a bunch of dots that the gang has to deal with.
The other two walls had windows towards the main city street.
Some of the most important gang members were sitting at the table with a few papers and computers in front of them.
Some had a coffee cup next to them others their phone.
"Good afternoon gentlemen, what's the problem?" I asked looking at Andre because he was the one who called me.
"Well apparently one of the Raven Crew members found out that you're getting close with Lena." Andre said giving me the look that this is going to be bad.
I clenched my fists as I stood behind the table.
"Shit." I mumbled.
"how did you find out?"
"I saw the two drug guys that you weretalkingwith and they saw you protect Lena last night.
They told me that they're going to be onto her."
Now I have to be over protective over her no matter if she likes it or not.
"Does Viktor knows about her."
"Well it happened last night, so I'm sure he's going to know everything about her by tonight."
I groaned finding a chair close to me and sitting down.
For the rest of the meeting we were making plans and strategies, just in case something might happen.
I decided that I will get much closer to Lena and maybe try to get her to live with me or her till we settle everything down.
Staying away from her will be the most stupidest thing ever, because Viktor AKA Raven will take her and who the hell knows what he would do with her.
I know for a fact that he would want Lena, because she's pretty.
She's young, brown hair that shines in the moonlight, her short height is perfect for Viktor because he likes small girls.
It was about 10 p.m. at night and I get a call from Lena.
She probably is waiting for her food that I'm supposed to deliver for her.
"Hey Lena, I'm at the meeting.
I'm going to be there in about 30 minutes." I said and saw everyone looking at me.
"Dam." she breathed into the phone quietly with her voice shaking.
I sat up quickly in alarm, "What's wrong?
Are you ok?"
"Dam, there's someone in front of my house in a black car.
And they don't look too friendly."
"Shit." I hissed.
"What's wrong Dam?" Andre asked his eyes scrunched up.
"Where are you Lena?"
"I'm in my bathroom in the small cupboard under the sink were the towels are at."
How small do you have to be to fit under there.
I thoguht."Do you have anything with you to protect yourself with?"
"I have a kitchen knife just in case." I heard a loud band through the phone.
I got up from my chair, "Everyone in their cars and follow me.
"Dam." she whispered.
"It's OK baby.
I'm going there.
Just stay quiet and don't come out no matter what.
I will get in there and get you out myself.
Got it."
"Alright, please hurry." she whispered.
"I'll save you." I said grabbing my gun as I heard another loud bang through the phone.
