The office was eerily quiet.

With no outsiders around, Vivian dropped the act. She straightened her rumpled clothes, walked over to the sofa, and sat down, crossing her legs.

The scared innocent look on her face was gone, replaced by a haughty arrogance.

Nick, like a lapdog, immediately rushed over to pour her a glass of water. "Vivian, are you okay?"

Vivian didn't even look at him. She just pulled a bank card from her Hermès bag and flicked it across the table like she was tossing a tip.
