Our Second Inning of Love

Synopsis

Six years after a painful separation, former high school sweethearts Willa Scott and Otto Wade crossed paths again at their hometown's autumn festival. Once bound for a future together, they parted when Otto left for a baseball scholarship while Willa stayed to care for her terminally ill mother. Now an elementary school teacher, Willa guarded her heart. Otto grew into a star professional pitcher recovering from a shoulder injury and returned to town for a break. Old sparks reignited as they uncovered misunderstandings that tore them apart years ago. After reconnecting intimately, new crises emerged. Otto's manager rushed him back amid tabloid rumors and an ex-girlfriend's pregnancy claim. Willa pushed him away to protect his career, breaking both their hearts. Eventually, Otto returned, revealed his manager sabotaged their communications, and convinced Willa to give their love a second chance. The story closed with his championship game proposal and their happy family years later.
