Five days later, I woke up.

I had no idea what renowned medical expert Landen brought in for me. All I knew was, I believed once I closed my eyes, I'd never open them again.

But I woke up.

At least my eyes finally opened.

"You're awake?" The doctor blinked in surprise.

I managed a weak smile.

"How long was I out?" I asked.

The doctor paused for a moment, then said, "Five days. You've been unconscious for five days straight."

Seriously, five days out cold and I still woke up?
