"I know a little," Logan said, his rotting mouth stretching into a grin. "What Northern Command has been searching for is right beneath your feet."

Claire's face went pale. "Logan, shut up!"

This time, I didn't bother listening to her excuses.

I raised my hand, and a machine gun on the outer wall swiveled toward Ethan's feet and fired a shot.

The concrete exploded, and Ethan collapsed to the ground, scared out of his wits.

I said coldly, "From now on, anyone who lies dies."

Claire bit her lip hard.

Logan, clearly pleased with my reaction, drawled, "Three years ago,…
