Chapter 4

Janus was sprawled on the couch, reeking of booze, surrounded by towers of takeout boxes and empty beer cans.

He opened his eyes groggily and said, "Mira, you're back."

Caspian walked up to Janus and kicked him hard. "This is what you get. Open your damn eyes and see who we are."

Janus groaned, clutching his stomach in pain. It seemed to sober him up a bit.

He looked up at me. "Nerina, when did you hook up with Caspian? Don't be fooled. He's gay."

After that, he started laughing foolishly.

"So what if I'm gay? I still wouldn't touch…
