Synopsis

Born into unimaginable wealth as the city's richest heiress, I was always taught to be patient and kind to everyone. When I was about to go abroad for work, my parents worried I'd be alone, so they brought my cousin from the countryside to live with me and keep me company. That's when my life went downhill. My cousin started pretending to be rich and showing off with my money. My friends stopped talking to me. Even my boyfriend left me for someone else. I felt completely broken. On my birthday, I couldn't take it anymore. I grabbed a bottle of pills and swallowed them, wanting to end it all. But right after I swallowed the pills, something weird happened in my head—like an alarm going off. Suddenly, my body moved on its own. I ran to the bathroom and made myself throw up. While I was bent over the toilet, totally confused, I asked out loud: "Who's there?" A strange robotic voice answered inside my mind: "I'm your guardian."
