The fitting room was silent, save for the sound of Aria's muffled sobs.

After a while, Cooper spoke up. "Aria."

She didn't look up.

"Is that why you're saying all this? To make me feel guilty?" Cooper's voice slipped back into that lazy drawl. "To make me feel like I owe you? To make me regret what I did?"

Aria finally lifted her gaze, meeting Cooper's eyes. "No."

"Let me make this clear." Cooper stepped closer and cornered her again. He leaned in, his face inches from hers. "I don't feel guilty, and I don't regret a thing.
