The next day, Andrew had to leave on a last-minute business trip. He stood by the door with his suitcase, but he couldn't let go of the cat. He held Misty close, his eyes full of worry, as he repeated his instructions over and over.

He said, "You have to take good care of Misty. Feed her the imported cat food on time, and don't let her suffer. And whatever you do, don't yell at her or hit her."
