At Edward's grandpa, Merlin Sterling's birthday party, Edward showed up with Vivian in tow.

Edward grabbed my hand, making a point to explain, "Grandpa's known Vivian since she was a kid. He practically watched her grow up.

"She wanted to come and wish him a happy birthday. I couldn't really turn her away."

I yanked my hand out of his grip.

I said, "He's your grandpa. Bring whoever you want. It doesn't matter to me.
