Chapter 4

Michael was completely frozen, unable to move.

He never saw this coming. Honestly, even I didn't expect things to take such a wild turn.

Before I could process what was happening, Michael snapped out of his shock and suddenly took control. He pressed my head down, grabbed my chin, and kissed me hard.

I was gasping for air, desperately pounding on his chest, but it was useless.

It was only after a long moment that Michael finally let me go.

He looked at me, his gaze scorching and dangerously intense.

"Emily, do you even know what you're doing?" he asked.
