Chapter 321 · My Hockey Roommate’s Filthy Desires

Chapter 321

GABRIEL'S POVJulian was a fool. That was the very first thought that crossed my mind as I pulled the heavy iron door shut and left him sitting alone in the dark.He actually believed he was going to walk away with Aria and the little girl. He thought he was playing a master game, but he was just a desperate piece on my board.I walked down the dim concrete corridor and entered my private office, shutting out the cold damp air of the underground hideout.A moment later, the door opened quietly and my second in command, James, stepped inside. He stood near the wooden desk, looking at me with a cautious expression."Are you alright, boss?" James asked, his voice low.A cold, bitter smile touched my lips as I looked back at him. "Have I been alright since Clara died, James?"James stayed completely silent. He knew better than to try and answer that question. There was no answer. If Clara had chosen me back then, if she had stayed by my side, I would have protected her with my life. I would have made sure that both she and the baby were still breathing today. But she was so blinded by her foolish devotion to Brandon that she stayed with him. And because of Brandon's carelessness, she ended up dead in a burning pile of metal.I had made a silent promise to Clara's memory six years ago. I promised her I would kill Brandon Sterling with my own hands. I would strip away every single thing he ever loved, piece by piece, until he was left with nothing. The truth was that Clara had felt suffocated by him, too. She knew how I felt about her. She knew I loved her more than life itself, but she refused to see right from wrong. I knew back then, just as I knew now, that I was the better choice. I was the one who truly cared.James was one of Brandon’s former tactical men who used to work directly under my command. When I faked my death in that warehouse fire, James did not hesitate for a second. He followed me willingly into the dark, leaving Brandon’s empire behind.I straightened my jacket and looked over at James. "It is time for phase one of our plan."James gave a firm nod. "The secondary house in the valley is fully prepped and ready, boss. As soon as we intercept the motorcade and secure the family of three, my men will take them straight there.""Good," I said, leaning my hands against the polished wood of my desk. "Dismissed, James. And send Lisa in on your way out.""Yes, boss," James replied, turning on his heel and leaving the office.A few minutes later, the door opened and Lisa stepped inside. As usual, she was wearing a tight, short dress that left absolutely nothing to my imagination. A slow, knowing smirk spread across her red lips as she walked toward my desk."What happened?" Lisa asked, her voice light and teasing. "Why do you look so stressed today?"I did not bother to answer her. I sat back in my heavy leather chair and looked at her with cold eyes."Strip," I commanded, my voice flat and completely devoid of emotion.Lisa did not argue. She reached behind her back, unzipped the dress, and let the soft fabric drop straight to the floor. She was completely naked underneath. She walked over to my chair, dropped to her knees on the cold floor, and looked up at me.She unbuckled my leather belt, pulled down my zipper, and freed my cock. She took me into her mouth, working her tongue with practiced ease.I zoned out almost immediately, staring at the concrete wall above her head. Lisa was nothing more than a fuck bunny to me. She was the woman I called when I needed a quick physical release and nothing else. There was no affection in it, no warmth, and no softness.I reached down, fisted my hand tightly in her long hair, and thrust deep into her throat. Lisa gagged against me, tears springing to the corners of her eyes, but I did not slow down. I pulled out of her mouth abruptly and looked down at her."Get on your hands and knees," I ordered.Lisa turned around instantly, bending over the edge of the leather chair. I reached down, my fingers brushing against her wetness. She was already slick and aching for me. I lined the tip of my cock up at her entrance and pushed all the way in with one hard, smooth thrust. She let out a sharp yelp and tried to shift her hips away from the sudden weight, but I clamped my heavy hand down on her hip, pinning her in place.I fucked her hard and fast, using her body like a mindless toy until a wave of release washed through me. I pulled out at the last second and came all over her lower back.I did not care whether she had finished or not. I reached onto the desk, picked up a white handkerchief, and wiped my cock clean before tucking myself back into my trousers."Get out," I said, not even looking at her as I buckled my belt.Lisa scrambled up off the floor, grabbed her dress from the ground, and pulled it over her head.As her hand touched the door handle, I spoke up without lifting my eyes. "Tell James to give you your payment on your way out."Lisa turned her head, offering a quick smile and a small nod. "Thank you, Gabriel."She stepped out and pulled the door shut behind her.I sat alone in the quiet office for a long moment, listening to the hum of the ventilation system. I was completely done living in the shadows. I was done waiting in the dark while Brandon enjoyed his comfortable life with his new woman and child.I reached into my inner pocket, pulled out a fresh burner phone, and dialed a number I had memorized six years ago.I held the phone to my ear. It rang once. Then it rang a second time before the line picked up with a sharp click."Who is this?" Brandon’s voice came through the speaker, hard, deep, and full of suspicion.I leaned back in my chair, a dark, cold smile spreading across my face."It is me, brother," I said softly into the receiver.
