When I pulled out the hidden micro-camera, Ethan actually blinked in surprise.

"When did you set that up?"

"Yesterday, when we checked into the suite. I planted this camera before the party."

I handed the device to Officer Walker. "It's a video-only device. No audio."

Walker took custody of the original footage, confirming they would review it alongside the key card logs, hallway footage, text messages, and witness statements.

Ethan looked at me, his eyes wide with surprise.

I didn't say anything else.

I had spent six years guarding against Chloe. I had anticipated every possible move she could make.
