"Ms. Summers, we're already divorced. I've already filed the paperwork with the family court. You signed, I signed—it's legally binding," I said, flat as ever.

"That's impossible! I never signed any divorce papers!" Linda shouted, her voice cracking with shock.

"You signed three documents—the resignation letter, the patent transfer, and the divorce agreement. You didn't even bother to look, just scribbled your name on all of them," I said, calm and steady.
