Synopsis

During a game of Truth or Dare, Laura and I both lost. I gripped the pregnancy report hidden in my pocket and secretly glanced at Sean. My face turned red as I was about to choose truth. But Laura beat me to it. She swirled her wine glass, staring at me with a faint smile. "I've been dating one of your boyfriends for eight years. Yesterday, we got our marriage license. But his girlfriend doesn't seem to know yet." I froze. My body started trembling uncontrollably. In our circle of friends, Sean and I were the only couple who were still openly dating. My best friend laughed awkwardly. "Everyone already knows that. Pick another one." Sean chimed in, "That doesn't count." I watched them laugh, cheer, and urge each other to drink.
