Chapter 3

"Eloise left," Myron said.

"Okay," I replied, walking into the bedroom.

Myron followed right behind me. "Dana, can we talk?"

"There's nothing to talk about." I started packing my things.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"I'm sleeping in the guest room," I said. "You keep the master bedroom. You've already slept in that bed with her anyway."

His face darkened. "Dana."

"Myron." I turned to face him. "From now on, we're just roommates. You stay in the master bedroom. I'll take the guest room. We stay out of each other's way."

He was stunned. "Roommates? Then what about us?"
