Chapter 1
After my former boss went bankrupt, he started working as a club model. I brought him home and made him my personal boy toy.
To get back at him for all the times he exploited me at work, I made him do all the grunt work for me every single day.
That was until I saw a message pop up on his phone: [Mr. Livingston, the news about you topping the rich list yesterday has been taken care of. Claire won't know a thing.]

I couldn't take my former boss's constant exploitation anymore, so I quit.
After lying around at home for half a month, my best friend, Victoria Hale, couldn't stand it anymore and dragged me to a club to liven things up.
But the moment we walked in, I spotted my former boss, Noah Livingston, dressed in black pants and a white shirt, pinned against the wall by a plus-sized rich lady.
His collar was all wrinkled, and two buttons had popped off, making him look pretty messed up.
Without saying a word, the rich lady slipped a few bills down his shirt collar.
"New face, huh? Just started here?" The rich lady smirked, tilting his chin up with a finger.
He flinched, his face flushing with a mix of embarrassment and anger.
"I heard the club's new headliner used to be a business owner," Victoria whispered in my ear. "He went bankrupt and ended up here working off his debts. With that body, that face, and that vibe, I'm betting it's him."
I was so shocked my jaw nearly hit the floor.
"He... he's the boss I've been ranting about. The one who squeezed every last drop of me." I stammered.
Victoria's jaw dropped too.
I'd only been gone for two weeks. How did the company go bankrupt so fast?
I couldn't help but think back to my time as Noah's secretary, barely scraping by on a salary that even a dog would turn its nose up at, working like eight people at once.
He always singled me out, never gave me a raise, and just kept piling on the work.
When I quit, the company totally fell apart. Guess they really couldn't survive without me.
Suddenly, a wicked thought crossed my mind. The tables were turning. It was time for him to feel what it was like to be the one getting squeezed.
As the wealthy woman was about to make a move on him, I stormed forward, stepping between her and Noah.
"Excuse me, miss, but I'm taking him for the month," I said, with a swagger, pulling a black card from my purse and stuffing it into Noah's collar, looking at him. "Deal?"
Noah raised an eyebrow, his expression darkening.
I leaned in close and whispered in his ear, "Face it, you're broke. Drop the pride. Better to be mine than hers, right?"
He glanced at the bossy rich lady, then looked back at me.
"Fine, I'm in," he muttered.
Noah pulled the black card from his collar and tucked it into his pocket.
The rich lady, humiliated and pissed off, tried to grab me, but Noah pulled me behind him, putting himself between us.
The club manager finally rushed over, looking panicked, with a couple of bodyguards in tow. "Mr. Livingston—"
But Noah cut him off before he could finish. "She's got me for the month."
"First come, first served! Don't you get it? I'm a regular here!" the rich lady snapped. The manager shot Noah a look, and Noah just gave a cool nod.
Two bodyguards immediately grabbed the rich lady and hauled her out, and I finally let out a sigh of relief.
This guy really was the top of the line. He could pick who he sold to.
The manager hesitated, looking at Noah, then at me. It hit me that we hadn't even talked price.
"How much is he a month?" I asked, looking at the manager. He looked awkwardly at Noah.
"One thousand," Noah drawled.
I slapped the manager on the shoulder, feigning admiration like I was talking to a master scam artist.
"Man, the only other cheapskate I've met like this was my old boss," I joked.
Then I turned to Noah. "For old times' sake, I'll make it 150 more."
He frowned, his eyes narrowing. "That's still not enough."
I was taken aback. Was the price higher for 1V1 service?
"Alright, another 150. happy now?" I said.
"I need to be able to get there in under three minutes," he added.
I rolled my eyes. Seriously? The guy was bankrupt, and he still had these high expectations? He wasn't exactly being down-to-earth here.
"Fine, I'll cover meals and accommodation. You can stay at my place," I said.
"Deal," Noah replied instantly.
