Simon grabbed an ice pack, rolled up my pajama pants, and pressed it against my knee.

"It's a bit cold. Bear with it," Simon said.

I held onto my pajama pants and mumbled, "Okay," feeling a little awkward.

Honestly, it didn't hurt that much anymore.

I watched as he cradled my calf with one hand and held the ice pack to my knee with the other.

His fingertips were turning red from the cold. I gave them a little poke.

"Simon, isn't this a little intimate for us?" I said.
