Chapter 4

I ran until my lungs burned.

I pushed through the dormitory doors and hurried up the stairs until I reached my room. Thankfully none of my roommates are around.

My back pressed against the door.

For a few seconds, I just stood there.

My fingers rose to my lips before I could stop them.

They still tingled.

I snatched my hand away.

"What the hell is wrong with me?"

My wolf whined softly.

"No."

I squeezed my eyes shut.

How could she possibly still want him after everything he had said?

He'd made it clear that he hated me.

Yet…
