Before Stan could do anything, he wrapped me up in a hug. My whole body was ice-cold.

I looked up in surprise. It was Eugene Jones.

Once again, a strange man saw me looking so pathetic. I felt a wave of embarrassment crash over me.

But to my surprise, Stan was the first to speak. "Yo, dude, who the hell are you?"

Eugene helped me up and draped his jacket over my shoulders. "What, you blind? Obviously, I'm the one holding her."
