PE class wasn't over yet when a sudden downpour started.

Everyone ran for the classroom, but Kellen stood tall and unmoving under the flagpole at the edge of the field, soaked to the bone.

Julianne looked over at Kellen and asked me to go back to the classroom first.

I knew she wanted to stay with Kellen, and honestly, I wanted to stay with both of them too.

But I also knew that just being there wasn't enough. I needed to solve the problem.
