Morning came, and Charles found himself waking up in Olivia's bed.

With Layla busy handling her father's funeral, it meant Charles and Olivia had way more time alone together lately.

But today was Layla's father's actual funeral. There was no way Charles could skip it.

Charles was about to get up when Olivia slowly woke and snaked herself around him, clinging to him like she never wanted to let go.

He chuckled, patting her smooth back. "Cut it out."

Olivia hugged him tighter, acting cute. "I can't let you go. Stay with me."

Charles smiled, helpless and doting.
