Chapter 1

My life turned around when I read my best friend's diary.

You might ask, who is my bestfriend ?

And how did it happen?

Well, I guess you are in for a story of your life.

The name of my best friend is Aria but I call her Miss Sage.

She is not a total nerd and doesn't wear glasses but she is very studious .

A total know it all ,so the nickname is appropriate for her.

We were friends since middle school and are still friends, best ones.

Miss Sage and I went to different high school because I was kicked out of her school for getting into a fight with her mister perfect.

When Aria found out that her mister perfect wasn't so perfect and was using her, it broke her heart I couldn't stand it.Not at all.

So, her twin brother Ethan and I (like the protective donkeys ) went to the guys house and beat him till death.

He was admitted in the hospital for two weeks , poor kid.

As for me , I was kicked out of the school.

It didn't matter to me because the school was too strict and had too much rules and regulations.

And rules don't bind me , you must know that by now.

Our principal Mr Harrison Clark , or what I liked to call him Mr Grumble, had given me a last warning and had said that If I did any thing that is wrong I will get kicked out.

So goodbye , Mr Grumble.

Aria lived two blocks away from my house. I lived with a busy lawyer.

The lawyer is supposed to be my mom.

For her work comes before family so I call her Lawyer to her face.

I have no siblings so i wouldn't be at home.

I would always be at Miss Sage and Ethan's place or my girlfriends' houses.

Aria's parents are great , they let me stay at their place and let me sleep at their guest room.

I had a lot of girlfriends .I have dated more than a dozen girls till high school but had never seen Aria in that sense.

After graduating from highschool Miss Sage , Ethan and I wanted to go to a college far away from home.

We moved out and found a place for us to stay together.

Ethan and I got admission in Crestwood University due to high reach of our parents.

But Miss Sage's super ingenuity got into her into Ashford .

She was this brainy since kindergarden as she has won so many spelling bees and whole other prizes which I can't write or even pronounce and half of them are unheard of.

So due to Miss Sage's intelligence she was going to stay with us for a month of two before she went to the university of her dreams, Ashford.

But she didn't want to be out of her studies for that long so she took courses while she was staying with us.

After the courses had started I got sick with flu and had to stay back at the apartment. I had a massive headache and really needed some asprin. So I went to Miss Sage's room to take some of hers.

After entering her room , I saw the asprin's box right at the table.

I took some and jumped on to Miss Sage's bed to sleep. As I laid on her bed, I could fell something under the sheets.

Due to the overwhelming curiosity, I took it out only to find :

My Bestfriend's diary

I shouldn't have read it but I am glad I did , because it changed my life for the better.

So due to the curiosity burning inside of me , I took the diary out.

The dairy was black in colour and on the cover the word " Notebook " was written in silver.

I remember this diary from Miss Sage's brithday when she tried to hide it from me.

I didn't know she was using it as a diary but thought she was hiding it from me so I wouldn't copy her work.

Guess , I was wrong.

I tried to open the diary but their was a number lock.

I thought for a while and tried complex combination like :

5 4 3 2 1

2 1 2 1 2

3 1 3 1 3

But none of them worked .

I was about to give up but I gave one last try.

I slowly kept the numbers in the most simplest order:

0 1 2 3 4

And it opened.
