"Ms. Lane had a ton of things delivered. She said she's turning Seabreeze Gallery into her own private photo exhibition from now on," the girl said. "The sign's already been taken down."

I looked up sharply. Emily ducked behind Charles. Charles frowned and said, "I agreed to it.

"The Gallery was empty anyway. Emily wants to make something out of it.

"Don't be so petty."

I hugged the photo album tighter, my fingers curling around it. Seabreeze Gallery was my grandmother's legacy to me. It was also the place where Charles once swore he'd be by my side for life.
