Chapter 6

This couple was here to buy a home for their daughter's marriage.

They checked everything much more carefully than the first group.

Right as they came in, they inspected the corners for water damage, asked about HOA fees, parking, and the neighbors upstairs and downstairs.

The wife measured the living room wall, while the husband called from the balcony, saying the lighting was great and if the price was right, they would close the deal fast.

David stayed at the dining table the whole time.

His water glass was on the table, right next to an unopened pack of cigarettes.
