Chapter 1
I looked so young that my son's girlfriend mistook me for "the other woman."
She and a mob stormed into my home on a live stream, screaming about dishing out justice.
"Think you can steal someone's man just because you're rich?"
"Does your husband know you're out chasing younger guys?"
"If he won't put you in your place, we will, bitch!"
They hurled insults while smashing the house. If I hadn't grabbed my cat just in time, they'd have even hurt it.
After texting my son, I eyed the crowd calmly.
Then I told them, "My son doesn't have a girlfriend.
"And if you can afford the damages, keep going. Just don't cry for mercy when we're in court."

I'd just gotten back from my husband's company when I saw a crowd of women gathered around the entrance to my home downstairs.
They were all different ages, some had sticks in their hands, and others had hoes.
At the front, the only man was holding up his phone, live-streaming the whole thing.
It was RawFeed, the top streamer on a popular website, famous for busting homewreckers.
The group was saying the one they were after wasn't just the other woman, but a serial cheater.
She had a husband, but was out there seducing college boys, throwing money at them until they caved.
"Hang tight, babes! We're still picking the lock. In just a bit, I'll show you what that slut really looks like," RawFeed called out to his viewers.
His shout was so loud that half the building came out to watch the drama.
"Man, this is a first. Usually, it's one of our neighbors heading out to bust homewreckers, not someone storming in here to hunt one down," someone laughed.
I knew it was true.
After all, anyone who could afford a place in the complex was either a big-shot CEO or a celebrity—the rich and powerful.
Even if some were cheating on their spouses, they'd never risk settling their lovers there. Way too many nosy neighbors were keeping tabs.
Right in the middle of the crowd, a girl who looked about twenty rolled her eyes so hard that it was a wonder they didn't get stuck.
She said, "You guys just don't know the half of it. There are tons of rich bitches out there. Now that she dares to mess around with my boyfriend, I'll teach her a lesson myself."
Suddenly, I realized I recognized her.
I was pretty sure I'd seen her at my son's school before.
I never thought she'd be the one being betrayed.
The girl kept ranting until she finally broke down in tears.
"That woman didn't just flirt with my boyfriend. She actually made him dump me! Seriously, is this even fair?" she sobbed.
Everyone rushed to comfort her.
"We've got your back, girl. Let's find out who's dragging down our neighborhood's reputation," someone said.
I really didn't want to get involved in all the drama, and with the front door blocked, I just headed home through the underground garage.
But just as I sat down, the doorbell rang.
As soon as I opened the door, someone shoved it so hard that it slammed right into me.
The door crashed into my face, busted my nose, and blood gushed everywhere.
My cat was scared and bolted straight under the cabinet.
A whole mob rushed in.
"Check it out, everyone. This slut is the one who seduced my boyfriend," one of them yelled.
"She's the woman cheating on her husband and hooking up with college guys," someone else shouted.
The crowd shoved their phones in my face, snapping away nonstop. "Blast her all over the Internet. Make sure she can't show her face anywhere without getting trashed," someone screamed.
I pressed my bleeding nose, but there was nowhere to hide, with them completely cornering me.
My mind was spinning for a while before I finally realized who they were. I guessed they mistook me for the other woman they had cursed downstairs.
But they didn't even give me a chance to explain.
The young girl grabbed a fistful of my hair and slapped me hard across the face.
She shot daggers at me, jaw clenched with rage.
"Just try showing up at my school and hitting on another guy. I dare you!" she snapped.
"Does your husband even know how dirty you are? Messing around with some college boy behind his back?" someone else sneered.
"Don't think you can do anything just because you're rich. Everyone in the stream is here to take down bitches like you," another chimed in.
