I arrived at the shop at seven o'clock the next morning.

Delilah showed up at eight, pushing the door open with a bounce in her step, holding two cups of coffee.

"Juliet, I brought you a latte. Guess what? Mr. Garcia from the Regal Luxe Hotel wants to order 300 fondant cakes for their annual party next month," she exclaimed.

She shoved the coffee into my hand with a big smile.

I took the coffee but didn't drink it.
