Something I never heard while I was unconscious. "Please don't die."

The fourth scene was two hundred years ago. I knelt before Sebastian, begging him to turn me. He turned away and disappeared into the darkness.

The view followed him.

Once he was swallowed by the shadows, he leaned against the wall and slowly sank to the floor.

He buried his face in his hands.

His shoulders shook with silent emotion.

The fifth scene—
