James Hudson only had twenty-two hours in a day. Ever since we started dating, he had made it clear that two hours of his day didn't belong to him. Whenever we went out, a single phone call could make him leave without hesitation. He said, "Sorry. I'm using the two hours that aren't mine right now. Keep track of the time. However long I'm gone, deduct it from those hours." Even during our wedding photoshoot, he disappeared halfway through for no reason. I forced myself to wait through those two endless hours. But James only said, "Sorry, I went over today. I'll borrow some time from tomorrow's two hours to make up for it." For three years, James kept borrowing from tomorrow to repay today. By the end, he owed a total of 586 hours. Later, at the engagement party where both families were discussing our wedding date, James left once again. Seeing my disappointment, his mother finally told me the truth. "James' secretary once got injured because of him. She was unconscious and fighting for her life for two hours. So he gave those two hours of his life to her as repayment." I suddenly laughed. Two hours were never enough. So why not give her his whole lifetime?
