Winona said she couldn't stand to see me anymore and started ditching school.

After talking to the school counselor, they figured she was probably depressed.

I was instantly thrown into the hot seat.

The principal summoned me to his office. Besides giving me a harsh talking-to, he suspended me and kicked me out of my class.

After all this turmoil, my health just kept going downhill. My stomach, which had finally started to recover, flared up again, the pain becoming almost unbearable.
