Charles stepped in front of me. "I invited her."

Simon looked at how Charles was treating me, confused.

Everyone in the fashion world knew Charles was difficult—he barely liked anyone. But every show he ran was a huge success.

Seeing his attitude toward me, Simon frowned. "You know Mr. Evans?"
