When I came downstairs, Jude and Arthur were sitting together at the table, eating dinner.

They were passing spoons back and forth, feeding each other bites. Seriously, they were even more lovey-dovey than a couple in the honeymoon phase.

Jude's mom was bustling around, grinning from ear to ear.

I glanced at the feast laid out on the table. Nothing but seafood.

Jude's mom was an experienced maid. She definitely knew I was supposed to eat seafood when I got an infected wound.

She whipped up this whole seafood feast just to mess with me.
