The turning point came about six months later.

I was working late at the office when my phone rang. It was Melissa.

Her voice was shaky and on the verge of tears, totally panicked.

She said, "Sabrina, you have to come! I'm at the Nocturne Club, I..."

The line went dead.

I frowned.

The Nocturne Club was where Owen and his rich-kid crew always hung out.

This never happened before. Looks like my second chance was already stirring up some unexpected changes.
