Synopsis

Firefighter Raylan Porter rescued seventeen-year-old Saige Miles from a deadly apartment blaze in Gulltown. Isolated and sheltered her whole life by her late father, Saige knew little of the outside world. Raylan fought to become her foster guardian to keep her out of the cold care system. He slowly guided her to experience ordinary life: first elevator rides, shopping trips and new friendships with his sister Willa and Dr. Nix. As Saige turned eighteen, hidden romantic feelings grew between them. Struggles, misunderstandings and inner conflicts tested their bond.
