I opened the manila envelope in the kitchen.

Arthur stood right next to me.

I pulled out three sheets of paper.

The first was a letterhead from the "Nevada Family Adoption Center".

It looked incredibly professional.

It had a fake logo and a fake address.

The second paper was a forged tax document.

The third was a signed verification letter.

The signature at the bottom read "Paul Davis, Executive Director".

Arthur actually had his brother sign it.

They conspired to commit federal wire fraud in writing.
