Rook spat at me in disgust.

"Ugh! We called you our sister-in-law, but you're disgusting!"

"Seriously, you're so vicious, you're not even fit to touch a hair on Selene's head!"

"Enough." Jax coldly cut them off, then bent down to me. "Iris, you've gone too far this time. You'll stay here and reflect."

He held Selene and turned to leave.

I collapsed helplessly onto the sand.
