"Glad to hear it," I said.

Margaret sat there, nervously twisting her handkerchief, looking like she wanted to say something but just couldn't get the words out.

I waited for a moment, but when she still didn't speak, I asked, "Margaret, is there something you want to say?"

She bit her lip, then suddenly stood up.

"Your Majesty." Margaret cried, her eyes already red with tears. "I know I shouldn't have come back, shouldn't have appeared before the King. But I'm truly out of options. If you're upset, I'll leave right now. I promise, I won't..."
