Nathan's villa was brightly lit as I rang the doorbell.

He opened the door himself, a triumphant smile on his face. "You're finally here."

"Sorry to keep you waiting," I said, feigning guilt.

Olivia wasn't in the living room, but I noticed the bedroom door upstairs was slightly ajar.

"Is Olivia resting?" I asked deliberately.

"Yeah, she's been having a rough time with morning sickness." Nathan pulled me to sit down. "Let's talk."
