Dylan stopped pretending.

We lived under the same roof, but we were worse than strangers. At the office, we were at each other's throats.

I hated him.

I hated that it had only taken him a few months to fall for Mila, and I hated what he had told me that his memories had come back, but his feelings for me hadn't.

Before the accident, we had still been dreaming together. We talked about our future, planned a vacation at the end of the year, and debated whether to get a cat or a dog.
