I walked into the bedroom, calm as ever, and took out the divorce papers I'd prepared long ago.

There were two copies.

I signed: Chloe Wynn.

Not a tremor in my handwriting.

Then I placed the papers and my broken phone on the coffee table right in front of Ethan.

"Ethan, let's get a divorce," I said.

He was busy texting Sophia, and didn't even bother to look up. "What now? Are you starting drama again?"

"Check the phone. And the divorce papers," I told him.
