It was getting late, and I figured Ethan would be back from his dinner party soon. We still had homework to finish.

As I stepped out of the villa, I saw him walking up the path. My heart did a little flip. I ran to him, linking my arm through his, and exclaimed, "What are you doing here?"

He squeezed my hand, whispering, "I was worried about you."

"Worried about what?" I teased, amused by his sudden shyness. He looked so adorable when he was flustered.
