Rafael found out at six in the morning that the cash could not leave the building.

I did not answer the speaker at once. My jaw locked until an ache ran beneath my ear. On the monitor his four men held the sealed cases with both hands, shoulders pitched forward under the weight, and I remembered him teaching new captains to carry sealed cases as though the seal itself made the order lawful.
